As a Multi Family Office, we look after the assets of private individuals, families and foundations. We also advise institutional investors, pension funds and pension schemes.
We have an exceptionally long experience in alternative investments.
All financial service providers of the Harald Quandt Group work strictly independent of banks. You can share in their success.
Closely linked to Germany’s industrial history
In the post-war years the Quandt family invested in German industrial companies. The holdings, including the Industriewerke Karlsruhe, were gradually sold from 1973 onwards.
Harald Quandt's descendants have had their assets and holdings in various financial services companies managed by Harald Quandt Holding since 1981.
The Single Family Office becomes a Multi Family Office: In 1988 Harald Quandt Holding opens up to support other families and institutional investors in the management, organisation and preservation of their assets. Through a minority shareholding in FERI/Sauerborn, the house gains further expertise in the management of large international assets.
After becoming Germany's largest multi-family office, the shares in FERI/Sauerborn are sold. The family founds its own Multi Family Office with HQ Trust, offering a comprehensive range of services.
HQ Trust opens a second branch with its Dusseldorf office. In the course of this move, HQ Trust builds up further competences and new structures in all business areas.
The Harald Quandt financial service providers form a family of companies. They combine their expertise and thus meet the special requirements of the Harald Quandt family. The companies act autonomously and independently of each other.
HQ Trust is also a member of the Wigmore Association, an international network of independent family offices.
